In 1992 John Kannis established the Practice commencing with the first commercial project being the restoration of a heritage building (built in 1904) to include the conversion into professional offices consisting of 5 tenancies. In the same year we were engaged to completely transform an existing building (built in 1898) in poor condition in Perth Central into 3 tenancies consisting of an Optometrical Practice, Café & Retail.
Also in 1992 we designed our first Retirement Village consisting of 24 Dwellings & then immediately moved on to other commercial projects. John Kannis Architects have designed a wide range of Commercial projects to date with some examples of our Commercial projects being:
